Pamee's Art Studio

Today we drove to Harrison, Idaho to deliver a few paintings to the Denise Oliver Gallery.  Denise is a delightful person and I look forward to our newest Pamee Team Gallery representing my work.  Mark your calander for July 7, 2012, I will be there 10:30-4:30.  It will be a fun day there on Coeur d’Alene Lake.  We will enjoy talking to you as I demonstrate my oil painting method.   I took my camera along today and completely forgot to take pictures of the breathtaking views.  Unfortunately the Denise Oliver Gallery website has recently been hacked and until they can get it back up and running properly, here is some information on contacting them from the Harrison, Idaho Chamber of Commerce site.  http://www.harrisonidaho.org/shopping.html

Hello,  Thank you all that showed your concern about me closing the studio.  It is all about the time.  I need the time to be with my mom.  She is in a nursing home now which gives me the time and room to paint at home.  Closing the studio gives me the time to be with my mom more.  So don’t worry be happy for me and come to the party on Friday, help to support a good cause and or see you this summer at the MillwooFarmer’s Market on Wednesday’s.  Look under events to get the full details.

Red Rose Galaxy

 The ‘Red Rose Galaxy’ oil painting is 36″ x 48″ and will be on display this Friday, December 2, 2011, 5-8 pm, at Pamee’s Art Studio, 9007 E Euclid in Millwood.  We would love to meet you at our ‘First Friday Art Walk and fundraiser for PNW Animal Welfare’.  For more information go to events.

I painted this image on the back side of glass, it was an interesting challenge.  Since it would be view from the opposite or front side of the glass, I painted the highlights and those items in the forefront first.  The original painting is in a private collection.  I like the painterly effect it has so I had it printed on canvas and I think it turned out quite well.  It will be on display starting this Friday in Pamee’s Art Studio, 9007 E Euclid, Millwood.  The art exhib will include paintings by me and Delores Hickey.  The Valley First Friday Art Walk will be opened, Friday February 4th 5-8pm and Saturday February 5th from 1-5pm.  Exhibit is by appointment Febuary 6th – 19th.  Pamee’s Art is on permanent display.  Email for an appointment.
